Shoshana’s dad and I have been very good friends for a number of years. A few months after her birth, we made plans for all of us to get together so we could finally meet. Of course, I also took this opportunity to get a few frames. It sometimes really amazes me how much you can do with a simple background and one light.

Some of you might remember Karelix from our last shoot we did back in July of 2009 with her dance group “Fly Khicks“. The goal of todays shoot was to get a few shots for her comp card and her book. We also took the opportunity to shoot some new headshots for her.
Working with other creative people always lends to some amazing images. Here are some of my favorite shots for her book.

It has been a few years since I started photographing Lululemon ambassadors. It seems like to me they get better and better with each passing year. Not that the ones a few years ago where bad, its just that todays athletes are fine tuned machines. Suyumi is definitely at the top of her game. Not only is she incredibly fit, but her personality and energy are incredibly addicting.
For her shoot, we decided our first location would be a parking garage. This is my favorite picture from there.
Next, we went to a rooftop in Aventura. I love this location. There are so many different places you can shoot up there and the sunsets are incredible. First, we played around on the actual roof top.
As the sunset neared, we climbed on top of an elevator shaft, getting to the highest point on the rooftop. Here are a few of my favs.
This is the image that was selected as the poster for the store. You can see it proudly hanging on the wall at the Aventura Mall. I want to thank Suyumi and the staff at Lululemon for making this an incredible experience.

This was a very special shoot for me. The Wizo organization organizes fundraiser events every year. This year they asked numerous local photographers to take family portraits. Besides that we helped to raise money for a very special cause, the cool thing about this project was that we only had 15 minutes with each family. Lots of pressure, with lots of kids 
.

There is so much one can write about photographing children. It always amazes me how incredibly smart, witty and funny they become, even at a very young age. This little guy definitely falls in that category, plus he was all smiles from the beginning.
First we shot a little bit in the studio.
Next we went to the park, where I feel is when you really see the true inner beauty in kids.

Anabelle and I met a few years ago. Since the first time we worked together, she has been one of my favorites people to work with. We always manage to capture amazing images.
It really just seems like every time we get together our shots just get better and better. Today’s plan was first a few headshots, followed by a little dip in the pool, a walk in the park, ending with a sunset beach shoot. Sounds like a long day, but when you work with a pro like Anabelle, the hours fly by and the creativity flows.
